| Dear Parents, At Treetops our aim is to provide all children in our care with a secure and homely environment which nurtures their growing needs. In order to provide this care we work in partnership with parents to ensure the highest quality care for all our families. Treetops was established in 1998 and is owner Managed by Karen White a trained Early Years worker. Karen is a mother of two children. As a working parent herself her aim was to provide an environment which assured her that her children would have the best care available with the added companionship of other children whose parents were also working. Since establishing the team which Karen personally recruits her ethos for offering childcare and has become known for quality for everyone who has required any of the services her team provides. | Treetops is a purpose build facility beautifully designed which incorporates security measures, which adds peace of mind for the families using the service such as the coded door entry. The building has been set on one level to increase accessibility for all ages and abilities. It has a private car park which allows easy drop off and pick ups. Its half acre site, situated in the hub of the village of Articlave is within easy access to both Coleraine and Limavady. We cater for children aged between six weeks and twelve years old. The outside garden area which is at the rear of the facility has been divided into different age groups to facilitate playing, however they are not cut off visually so that the children can still see each other "something which is of vital importance when you have siblings together in any Daycare", the beautiful garden has been fenced off and Evergreen turf laid, this really lifts the atmosphere and creates a superb amazingly atmospheric environment for your children to play in. |

Manager
Is responsible for implementing all policies for the nursery and ensuring these meet with registration guidelines set by the local authority.
Develops links with outside agencies, Social Services, Disability Teams and Local Schools and Colleges.
Overseas all posts in the nursery, liases with both parents and staff.
Supervisors
In charge of the daily planning and routines of the children in her care (working directly with children).
Liases with manager and parents regarding reports, pick-ups and medicines involving childrens care.
She ensures parents are kept updated with information regarding their overall development.
Assistants
Works directly with children to help organise room routines which she participates in with children.
Her key duties are to develop childrens developments in both social and intellectual interaction with other children and adults.
Cook/Housekeeper
To provide a balanced diet which reflects childrens dietary requirements. To ensure all foods and snacks are prepared following food safety standards recommendations.
Works with staff to encourage children to participate in the in the social interaction that group care offers.
As a food handler she is responsible for all record keeping i.e. food deliveries, ordering stock rotation and menu planning.
As part of her non-food duties she ensures supplies for the whole nursery i.e. cleaning materials, laundry and chemical stocks.
